Crying Isn't A Mystery When You See This Movie On Holocaust History

Wow and Boo Hoo Hoo. That is what I thought and did when I saw this movie. This was the first movie that I have ever cried in. This was an incredible and epic film that makes you wonder weeks and weeks after you see it. The movie is called The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. It is about a German boy whose dad has a very prestigious job in World War II. He is transferred and the boy is forced to move. He discovers what he believes is a farm, but is really a concentration camp for Jews. The boy befriends a Jewish boy in the camp. The movie shows the struggles of how Jewish people were treated back during the time of the war. It also shows what life was like for the boys, and their friendship. This movie should be nominated for an Academy Award. In my personal opinion, it should win. This movie did not have the most popular cast but here it is: The movie stars Asa Butterfield (Bruno), Jack Scanlon (Shmuel), and David Thewlis (Bruno's Dad). Some of the good parts of the movie was when Bruno gave Shmuel food. It was good to see a Jew smile in a time like that. The main thing that I liked was how realistic this movie was. Those were how times were back then. It is so sad how that is what times were like back then. The only complaint that I have about this movie was the ending. It was so sad. Yet again that stuff really did happen so I guess that they had to do that. Overall I give this movie 4 popcorn buckets out of 4. Just for the record, this movie is also a best selling novel.
