See This Movie The Day BEFORE Tomorrow

The last movie that I saw is entitled The Day After Tomorrow. It is a very, very interesting movie. It keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout the entire thing. The movie is about a climatologist named Jack Hall who realizes that the world is going to experience a climate change in about 100-1000 years. He is completely accurate except for one tiny little detail. It just so happens that when he means 100-1000 years, he really meant the next day. As he tries to convince the Vice President to do something important which he doesn't allow. The world is now experiencing catastrophic hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, etc all at one time. This is due to global warming, and is leading to the next ice age. While this is happening Jack's son Sam is New York for his scholastic triathlon. When the storm hits, he has no time to get back. They can't go outside because if they do chances are they will freeze. The role of Jack Hall is played by Dennis Quaid, and Sam Hall is played by Jake Gyllenhaal. There are other roles played by Ian Holm, Emily Rossum, and others. They all did a great job. I am not a big fan of Quaid but this time he did a very good job. The only things that I did like about this movie those 3 people in the north that Jack Hall was keeping in contact with. There was absolutely no purpose of them what so ever. Overall this was a very good movie. I give this move 3 popcorn buckets out of a possible 4. Remember, "If you want to find a flick, twothumbsup will help you pick."
