I Have To Admit Another Great Performance By Brad Pitt

This last movie that I saw is called The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. It is a very unusual and unique film. It is about a person who lives a pretty abnormal life. Everything around him is normal except for himself. He starts his life out as an old man and instead of getting older, he gets younger. Everything is backwards in his life. He is taken in by a woman named Queenie who thinks that this ugly ugly baby is a gift from god. All Benjamin wanted to do was be a normal boy, and then he found his way out. He is in a nursing home and one of the residents there has a granddaughter named Daisy who technically is about his age, but it doesn't look that way. They become very close friends until he is ready to see more. He sets off to sea during World War 2. He comes back different physically and mentally, but by the time he gets back Daisy was also much different. She is much older. This movie is about how Benjamin and Daisy manage to maintain their relationship. There are tons of obstacles in both of their lives. This film was very, very good. It was very long and that did bother some people but it didn't bother me too much. The storyline of this movie is very interesting and different then any other movie I have seen. David Fincher directs this film. You may also know him from directing a film called Fight Club. This film stars Brad Pitt as Benjamin Button, and Cate Blanchett as Daisy. These people were all absolutely superb. They really showed their true colors as actors. Speaking of superb I have to point out the makeup artists. These people who did the make up are indescribably incredible. How they made Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett look so old and so young still boggles my mind. They should definetly win an Oscar for their job on the make up. Come Oscar time every person that was in this movie should be excited. However, Cate Blanchett should be a little disappointed because she was terrific, but did not even receive a nomination for her role. Besides that this movie is nominated for a total of 13 nominations. This includes best actor, director, screenplay, picture, and 9 others. Eric Roth is the writer of this movie. He is also known for his work for Forrest Gump. This movie is apparently related to Forrest Gump. I personally didn't see it, but some people did. Overall I give this movie 4 popcorn buckets out of a possible 4.
