The last movie that I saw is entitled Public Enemies (R) and is based on a true story. Directed by Michael Mann and starring Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, and Marion Cotillard . It takes place in the 1930's in which the FBI was just forming and every agent was looking for public enemy # 1 John Dillinger was known for his notorious bank robberies. Though he was the most wanted man in America, that didn't stop him from going to fancy parties, public movies, and robbing banks. He also had a love interest and a heck of an ego. While trying to "settle down" and get as much money as possible he is being chased down by the FBI with Melvin Purvis leading the way. Purvis who caught other notorious public enemies including pretty boy Floyd would not sleep until he caught John Dillinger dead or alive. Depp who portrays the role of Dillinger does an excellent job of becoming the role. Along with Depp was Christian Bale and academy award winner Marion Cotilard. You also see appearances from Channing Tatum and Billy Crudup. However this movie was a little slow at times and had a lot of violence and foul language. Overall I really loved this movie. This was a movie that people either hated it or loved it and I loved it. I give this movie 3.5 popcorn buckets out of a possible 4. Remember,"If you want to find a flick, twothumbsup will help you pick."
