Houston, Mission Accomplished

3, 2, 1, blastoff!!!!!!! Mission to Mars was a sci-fi hit. It had a great cast, cool facts about Mars, and was very futuristic. I think many people would agree going to the movies to learn about science and history can be more fun than learning at school or at work.
In the year 2020, with the latest NASA technology we can now send people to Mars. The movie is about the first mission to Mars and what happens to the crew during the mission. After a catastrophic storm, there it is questionable if there are any survivors. NASA sends up another crew of four and what initially was a rescue mission in the hope to find survivors turns into much more. Take a mission to the movie to find out what happens. Mission to Mars has a great cast....Don Cheadle (Luke Graham), Tim Robbins (Woody Blake), Gary Sinise (Jim McConnell), Connie Nielson(Terri Fisher), and Jerry O'Connell(Phil Ohlmyer).
One of my favorite parts of the movie takes place in the spaceship, when the crew was dancing, and eating. It is really cool how you can float in space, you can throw food and catch it in your mouth. It must be fun to be suspended in air without gravity. But kids, don't try this at home! I don't think mom and dad will think its so cool. Another part I enjoyed was all the discoveries made about Mars. The space program is very interesting, and I learned a lot about Mars.
I like the fact that the movie took place in the future. It makes me wonder if maybe one day we will be able to send people to Mars. In the past people didn't believe we could send men to the moon and we did so anything is possible.

The cons of this movie is what happens to Gary Sinise's character. I won't reveal that in my review but I would have left that scene in outer space.

I give this movie 2.5 popcorn buckets out of 4.
