I'm Cuckoo For This Movie

Hello movie fans!!!! I will be doing something on my blog that I have never done before!!! I will be doing reviews on some of my favorite best Oscar pictures. I will be doing this for a few weeks and before you know it the Academy Awards for the 2009 movie year will be around the corner. This blog is a classic movie entitled One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (R). This is one of my favorite movies of all time!!! It stars academy award winners Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher and is directed by Milos Foreman. It is about a convict named R.P McMurphy who qualifies to be transferred to a psychiatric institute. There he meets a lot of strange people who almost enjoy being there and believe that they need it. There, he teaches the other patients things they couldn't have imagine, and is a very bad influence to them. The head nurse there named Mildred Rathed doesn't approve of McMurphy's behavior, and will not take it. It is a movie that keeps you thinking and you have no clue what is going to happen next. It is a movie unlike any other, and when it was released, no body had ever seen anything like it. It took me a week to stop thinking about this movie after I saw it. If you like suspenseful, twisted, Jack Nicholson movies, then there is not a better movie for you. There is nothing creepier than the sound of Jack's piercing laugh!!! In my opinion it is Jack's finest performance. You will see appearances from Danny De Vito and Christopher Lloyd as well. Overall this is an outstanding movie. I give this movie 5.0 popcorn buckets out of a possible 5.0. I will be writing more and more about other classic Oscar winners as the days go on. Remember, "If you want to find a flick, twothumbsup will help you pick."
