Another Oscar classic is entitled Forrest Gump (PG-13). This stars Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise, and Robin Wright Penn and is directed by Robert Zemeckis. The movie is about a man who is a little "off" and definitely has some issues with him. As a child he was always different compared to all of the other kids. He had different interests, and the thickest southern accent that you can find. This movie shows an epic story of man who has seen it all. He has fought in a war, he has become a ping pong champion, and even ran across the United States. Along with that he has tried to win back the love of his life who also has had a very rough ride along the road. Her name is Jenny Curran. She has tried to become a muscian, a war activist, and even a drug addict. He encounters many different obstacles and meets people on the way. He wins awards like the medal of honor, and is an all american football player This movie is unlike any other. I don't think anybody can come close to making a movie with such passion, romance, and perfection. However this movie is a little unrealistic. He does a lot of unimaginable things. Most people can't do one of these things let alone all of them. The way that he does all of them makes them even more spectacular. Tom Hanks who portrays the role of Forrest Gump is just indescribable. He manages to play smart and stupid at the same time. It is some of the best acting that I have ever seen and I have seen a lot!!! Also Gary Sinise who plays the role of Lt. Gary does a tremendous job. He takes what starts out to be a mean jerky role, and turns it into a sweet warm hearted person. As well as Sally Fields who plays Mrs. Gump. This movie has it all. It takes place all over the role, and has stuff shown that you have never seen before. If you haven't seen this movie before, then don't watch any other movie before you see this one. Overall I give this movie 5.0 popcorn buckets out of a possible 5.0. Remember,"If you want to find a flick, twothumbsupreviews will help you pick."

I agree with you completely! If you haven't seen this movie, go right out and rent it RIGHT AWAY. It is acted with passion and directed beautifully. The cinematography is exquisite, and Tom Hanks is amazing.
Great synopsis of the film, too!
I still think the movie plays with the idea of destiny and how Forest Gump changed so many people's lives and their fate because he met them and lived with integrity, warmth and unwavering devotion. Maybe that means that we can do the same thing for the people we meet in our lives?
Hey dude! Right on with your breakdown of Gump. One of the best. A real hero in every sense of the imagination. No matter how hard the challenge, he just conquered it. That's a real life lesson that we should all take to heart!
